Report writiing

WALT- Unpack reports.
This week we were learning about reports and unpacking them but first we had to cut them up so that we didn't know the order. We had to stick them to a piece of paper and find all the spelling mistakes that our teacher purposely put in. We made sure the paragrpahs were on one topic.
I enjoyed finding all the words spelt wrong.
I found it challenging to glue the pieces of paper of the report on to the coloured paper.
My learning object shows the I can unpack a report.
Our report was about Lions. Here is a dynamic fact. 
In Swahili, Simba means lion.

Bling your blog

Today we were learning how to change the background for my blog and heading.
I enjoyed picking the texture for my heading .
I found it challenging to pick a background for my blog.
My digital learning object shows that I can learn new things.
To change the background for your blog you need to click design then click customize and pick the colour you want or if you would like a picture you took of something just click the grey arrow in the black box in the top left corner then click images and uplode from computer then click apply to blog.
To  get the heading Mrs Torrie ( our cybersmart teacher) gave us a google drawing template that we had to  make a copy of and when we had done that we had to add our names then our year and she told us to click insert then click image and click search web when we had done that she told us to search up texture when we done that it cam up with bricks and marble and other stuff like wood. She told us to pick one so I picked marble when we finished our template she told us to do some intructions and here is what she told us
1. click file 
2. click downlode 
3. go to your blog then click design
4. scrole down on the hot bar on the the side till you find lay out and click that 
5. it should say insert from computer or insert image click that
Then boom you got your heading but make sure to click apply to blog.

Pentecost

This week  we are learning about Pentecost and how the disciples got blessed by the Holy Spirit.
I enjoyed creating the flame and when you turn it over its a Dove.
I found it challenging to make the flame thats a Dove because it was hard to match the paper in line with each other.

It says in my R.E book,
As the Disciples waited in a room for the Holy Spirit the wind had started to blow like a wind strom then a tongue of fire laid above the Disciples heads . Then as soon as this happened one of the disciples called Peter told the crowd (that had came running to see what had happened) And some people thought that the Disciples were acting strange because they were all speaking different languages. Peter told them that they were not acting strange because God said that this was going to happen. God made it so they can speak different languages to spread Gods word. When you turn it over  it becomes a Dove.

Torch Challenge

WALT- Make a closed circuit.
My group found it easy to connect the wires to the batteries
My group found it tricky to get the light buld to light up.
Next time I would try harder to get the light buld to work.Explanation
Eletricity is a power soures that can flow though copper , Water and even us.
Eletricity from your torch comes from the batterie and the chemicals in the the battieries flows though the copper in the wires.

Dolphin Fact Sildes

This week and last week we have been learning about dolphins.
I enjoyed doing all the fun challenges
I found it challenging to do the main idea and supporting idea.
My learning object shows that I can embed a set of slides onto my blog.

Jesus Asending Into Heaven

Today we were learning about Jesus Asending into heaven.
I enjoyed making Jesus from out of shapes. 
I found it challenging to find a quote of the Bible story.
My digital learning object shows that I can learn about Jesus and his ways.
Next time I would make the desciples look different.

Afternoon at the beach

Today we were learning to describe.
I enjoyed telling what I did at the beach.
I found it challenging to use different sentence starters.
My digital learning object shows that I can use juicy verbs.
Next time I would challenge myself to use a long sentence followed bye short ones.

I enjoyed writing the poem.
I found it challenging to get the right video because there was alot of nosie.

My lenten promises.

Lent is about almsgiving (giving to the poor),Fasting(giving up stuff you really love) and praying(like praying for the poor and sick)
I promise to put money in the Caritas box because other people need it more than me.
Today I was learning about lent.
I enjoyed writing about lent and coloring in.
I found it challenging to find what I love and to give it up.

 Next time I would change some colors.

Making huts

Making huts

When I was little (and I still am) I used to play hide and seek,tag and climb
trees

Dive through the tough strong waves then go to my Nan's house and paint Rocks.

 But most of all I like making huts.

 So one day my teacher said ‘’let's make huts today’’ the whole class was I guess you can
say surprised even though we all knew there we were going to make huts today.
First things first we got all the sheets we needed but how did we get some the teacher
randomly pulled out
some sheets,blankets and cloths.
But Willy was the only one prepared. He brought a really long sheet but it was like a blanket.

 So we got to work moving our desk and smashing into one another's desks and when all the
desks were in place  shaping what the huts would look like.

There were three groups that had combined and had a massive hut.

 We started off with putting all the blankets on then pegging them but they were to heavy so
we waded them down with Bibles. 

Then we finished and everyone zoomed in. Five minutes later thats when all the drama happened 

‘’Hey you've had your turn with that dinosaur’’

 ‘’No I have not’’

 It was really noisy it hurt my ear drums but then Mrs Naden said its time to pack Your huts 
the whole class was devastated but at least it was not loud anymore I was wrong it went loud
straight away but all I could hear was all the desks moving.
It  took a while to clean up but we managed to finish.
