I enjoyed creating this ANZAC poppy to remember all the soldiers that have fallen.
I found it challenging beacause we didnt have any red paint so I had to use what we had around the house. I found some red wrapping paper and cut it into pieces for the petals.
Next time I would try and not get my finger's sticky from all the glue.
Items I Used
- Red wrapping paper
- A gluestick
- A branch from a tree
- Black paint
- Paint brush
- sissors
- Cardboard
- Pencil for tracing

ReplyDeleteI really like your poppy, it was time consuming but you did it! I like that you problem solved and thought to use red wrapping paper, great work.
I like that you have added to your blog what the colours of the poppy represent as this is what we were learning today.
It was a good idea to add in what materials you used incase others might want to make a poppy too.
Thank you for sharing.
Mum.
Loved your huge poppy Morgan, so bright and beautiful. I really liked how you listed all the things you used. That will be very helpful to someone wanting to make it. Great job.

Zdravo Morgan,
ReplyDeleteYour poppy is stunning. Is this one of the tasks from our ANZAC Day Choice Task Board? Maybe you could write about the activities you could choose from and explain why you chose this one.
