saving are naitve birds!!!
Over the last few weeks we have been learning about tracking tunnels and traps. we used the tracking tunnels to record the animals footprint so that we know what pest we have.what we used for the tracking tunnel
.1.peanut butter.
.2. Ink.
.3.tunnel.
We put all four outside. one out by room one, three in the native garden. The next day we went to check the tunnels three of them had nothing because the ink dried out so the rat or mouse got the peanut butter without getting ink on its foot. The other tunnel had mice and rat foot prints. After we found these paw prints we emailed Kauri. She came in to help us set a trap in the native garden.
